Lol trust me you don't want Benjani. He is awful.

We've let Jo, Bojinov and Caicedo go on loan and we've released Vassell and sold Evans. Hopefully Benjani will be next.

Bit of good news for LeftyLee though.

We're very likely to walk away from the Lescott deal. It was a near certainty to go through once Everton had found a suitable replacement. This hasn't happened. Basically Everton are playing hardball over the fee - which was actually agreed (don't know what it was)and City are ready to call their bluff and walk away. This will probably break in the next few days (in the media), unless Everton do a massive u-turn or Joleon puts in a transfer request. Cue Lefty saying ' i knew we'd never sell him'
This could happen in the next few days. I was speaking to my mate last night and he reckons Lescott might force Everton's hand here. The rumours of us going for Bassong are total bull. They were fed out to the Manchester Evening News along with a statement from Hughes saying we will move on to other targets if others don't materialise (lescott). My mate's heard this has forced Lescott's hand, cue Moyes rant in the papers this morning. Lescott has been left out of the Everton squad for today's friendly with an 'injury' so what looked like a dead - duck, could now be back on.

We're also trying to close a deal with Fabian Delph from Leeds. Not sure what i think of either of them to be honest, The price for Lescott is going to be £20m which is way too much. Half hoping it doesn't happen, but we desperately need a left footed centre half. Would rather us go for Upson but for some reason we aren't.
Delph needs his head testing if he thinks joining City would be a good idea, might be lucky to play 10 games and that will be in the carling cup.

Hughes has a huge job keeping these players happy.
