All the people who have no sympathy for Resto I can see where you are coming from.

But it was over 25 years ago and he is not the same human being he was then that he is now.

He's 53 fuckin years old now for God sakes and poverty stricken.

So then 25 years later if you are a broken destitute mess then there should be no mercy or sympathy for you?

Obviously what Resto did is much worse than drinkin and driving but still.

Sure the young street thug who did that to Collins deserves no mercy, but the 53 year old Grandfather of today, well excuse me for having a little sympathy for him.

The man is a broken mess and obviously not a criminal mastermind by any stretch of the imagination.
He's an uneducated poor kid from the Bronx who fucked up and did a terrible thing.

Only just finished watching the stream as Ive had to watch it in bits at work but man I think that is one of the most moving documentrys I have ever seen. I saw the full fight that Mick posted a while back and it had a big effect on me for ages and felt nothing but hate towards Resto and Lewis but after watching this doc I couldnt help but feel sorry for Resto.

Resto is a broken man and has to live with what he did for the rest of his life which is a life sentance in itself. Lewis on the other hand is just a dirty scumbag that feels no repent from what I saw what so ever. He kept saying to Resto that when I make it big I will look after you, I saw it it as him saying keep your mouth shut about what happened and I will reward you one day.

We all make mistakes when we are young, Resto derserves forgivness.
The part when Resto met Billy Collins widow was well moving, it must have took alot of courage for him to do that. If she can forgive him then why cant others.
