OK, History/Geography went over well a while back, lets try this.

It can be music, film, theatre, comedy, tv, whatever.

I'll start.

This musician has been inducted three times into the rock and roll hall of fame. Once as a solo artist, and twice as a member of different bands. The bands were from the 1960s, and he is still tours and records.

You are correct. for bonus points, name the two bands that are in the hall. There are actually a total of six bands he was in, that I know of, so extra points if you can name the other four.

I can't think of four bands (without google) but in the sixties i'm pretty sure it was - The Yardbirds and Cream

The others are John Mayall and the BluesBreakers (after Yardbirds, before Cream), Derek and the Dominoes (Layla), Blind Faith (with Steve Winwood), and Delaney and Bonnie (briefly, when he was trying to kick heroin).

That album (Layla and other assorted Love Songs) really kicks ass. Duane Allman plays all the slide guitar on that album. I always found it interesting that Clapton recorded that while stoned on heroin. And when he kicked the habit his style became much more mellow (461 Ocean Boulevard)

Yep. Not sure what you mean by misread, but Harrison played that repeating guitar bit (riff I guess you could call it) in the Badge bridge.

I thought I saw an interview with Clapton years ago where he talked about having a written arrangement for the song on a table, with various parts labeled (verse, chorus, etc.) The label "bridge" happened to be at the top of a page, and when Harrison came in, he thought it read Badge. I could be way off, though - I've lost many a brain cell along the way

nope, most of Croce's hits were in the early '70s. good guess though
