I've played my whole life and spent a lot of time playing in Mexican adult leagues. It is amazing how the "machismo" disappears once you bump into a latin player on the pitch. Being a relatively stout guy I've had so many fouls called on my by floppers it absurd.

That flamboyant flopping IS machismo in their culture...the Italians, the Brazilians, the Portugese, etc. all those flamboyant cultures all have floppers and apparently that's cool to do.....maybe if we used Coach K from Duke he'd teach our guys how to fall down properly, the Dukies are always diving like a bunch of women.
