I think Hagler, Monzon and Robinson are the top three, in any order.

Because he has given several accounts. Do you not read the threads?

He lost his first amatuer bout now he's 6-0.

He didn't know how to play chess then he was a prodigy who studied grandmaster games with his trainer during his schooldays.

Anyway it's not important, I only mentioned it because this was his thread about his thoughts on Hagler until youngblood told us somebody else had written it.

    He amuses me is all.
I have never ever said i lost my first Amateur bout, that was something Memphis thought i said. But he was mistaken so get your facts straight, i've already explained to you about the chess thing.

In the other thread and if you think i cheated, why don't you play me at Kurnik ? you can't cheat there. Because your name flashes when you open up another window.

I won 2-1 i lost a game so how the hell was i cheating ? i offered CGM blitz games or games at Kurnik. But he wanted to leave it, which was fair enough.

If you want to bring this up constantly, because it seems to bother you so much. Go right ahead but its make you look petty, and your the one that said i constantly disagree with you ?

Secondly i never tried to say this was my own work, and i explained why i couldn't put a link. And thats because it was from another boxing site, and i cannot mention that boxing site, because Saddo's doesn't allow me to do it.

I didn't realize it was an article, from the site BIG H posted. I personally got it from another forum, and i was impressed with it. So i put it up here i should have mentioned the guys screen name.

But i didn't so that was me making a mistake, but when i have done articles myself. I have always said its me, like my Charles Burley was one was me, and in the thread title i said it was me.

So don't try and make out i post articles, and try and take credit for other peoples work. Because i can do my own articles, i've done one on Nigel Benn, Floyd Mayweather, Charles Burley. Im not petty that i take credit for other peoples work.

The reason i didn't reply to this thread straight away, is because as you said i was inactive. And not due to anything happening on here, because that doesn't bother me at all. Because i had personal things to deal with.

Lastly it amuses you ? what exactly amuses you ? you've been on my case for the last two weeks. Your the one actually amusing me, because your making such a fuss over nothing.
This story keeps popping up, and you know, it changes a little every time. Yeah, I did win one game. I only remember two games 1-1, but it doesn't really matter. It was kind of odd though, the difference in the way you played between one game and the next.

Hagler was 5 inches shorter than Monzon! Monzon was a beast, had an iron chin and possessed a paralyzing right hand, the Marvelous one would be in all sorts of trouble with this man.

Carlos Monzon was only 2 inches taller, i like Carlos Monzon. But he was a bit robotic. And he didn't have much punch variety. He did pack a punch and had great stamina for his life style, aswell as a great chin.

But i feel the early version of Marvin Hagler, the one that was a great boxer. Who sticked and moved and counter punched very well. Would outbox the much more robotic Carlos Monzon IMO.

I just looked up Monzon's height and i get 3 different results 6' 2' 6' 1' and 5' 11' what is it really? The thing with Monzon was he barely trained for a fight, was a chain smoking, boozing, womaniser who, if he had put his mind to it would have been even more formidable. He even got shot by his second wife in 1973 and still managed to have 14 successful title defences. No doubt a Hagler V Monzon match up would have been amazing to watch.

When it comes to height always go with the lowest figure. Still do not buy the fact that Monzon did not train hard. It is impossible to achieve what he did otherwise. Hagler could out box and out work Monzon and avoid his big right hand, even if it did land Hagler would take it, after all, he took Hearns bombs.
