I think you kind of slipped my point. "Pound 4 Pound King" and straight up use of "King" imply different things. I don't care atall for this P4P crap, but if PBF was it then he was it. What he certainly was not, was a King in the way Lafontaine implied, and what he certainly did not do was leave a Gigantic hole in boxing. Do you honestly believe that the depth of boxing as a sport is that shallow that PBF left a gigantic hole. My knowledge on boxing is certainly not at the level of yours for sure, but I sure as hell know that boxing lives on with or without the "King".
You're taking it too literal. In context if floyd was p4p number 1 he's on top in the boxing world. If boxing metaphorically is a "kingdom" then floyd was the king implying that he was the top dog.
It's a promotional video supposed to create intrigue, interested, some kind of emotion to get people to watch the fight. An Advertisement if you will.
And regardless of what you feel the fact is when floyd left there was a void filled with tons of questions esp in the WW division. Now that he's back maybe they will be answered....
PBF vs Berton, cotto, shane, pacman, marquez, williams, clottey, margarito are all fights that many wondered about, so now that he's back maybe we can get at least two of them...not counting the marquez fight...
