who is the greater boxer- hopkins or jones??

who will go down as the better fighter in history?

hopkins has proved to be the most wonderful late bloomer but roy had a prime where he was untouchable so just wondering who you think will go down as greater int he record books?

Me too. I honestly believe that Jones along with leonard are the only people that can be mentioned in the same sentence as SRR when it comes to p4p greatness!

RJJ easily is the best boxer of all time for me...if can manage to beat danny green and add a cruiserweight title to his collection it will only help him...he's in the best position where no one cares if he loses because everyone knows his past it , but if he wins he gets more credit..i think he could beat adamek too.

For me Adamek is the most meaningful fight Jones could have right now, and if he beat "the man" at Cruiserweight, which is a big ask but maybe his handspeed will still be too much for Adamek, then alot of the ground and respect he seems to have lost since the return to LHW after Ruiz would be restored.

Personally I think he should have gone to Cruiser after winning the HW title, it would have been a lot easier on his body and a lot of this talk of no chin would IMO not exist!

I would also add Henry Armstrong to that list. No one has ever held 3 weight titles at the same time, and mind you this was in the days of 1 champion and 8 weight classes. The man jumped from featherweight to welterweight and become champion and then went back down to lightweight and capture that title also.

Jones by a long way. Bernard is a great fighter, but RJJ is an ATG.
