Ishe has to fight the perfect fight. I mean he beat Randall Bailey at 140 and that is dangerous but he can't afford to get hit by this guy if he has the power. Power is always an equalizer so Ishe has to be on top of his game.

Jacobs doesn't really have a lot of power, he is a volume accumulation damage kind of guy.

Against a defensive guy like Ishe I wouldn't be too worried then but if this guy is an accumulation guy he probably throws a lot of punches, so Ishe can't get too used to being too defensive in this fight.

I had Bailey winning that fight. But I do think Smith will pull off the upset tonight

I don't think Smith will win (even if he wins they won't give it to him and he's not the type of fighter to force them to give him the decision), but he's going to make Jacobs look bad. I think Jacobs will win a close UD/SD in a fight where he's busier, but Smith lands the harder more accurate shots. I do think that it'll be a fight from which Jacobs learns a lot and even if he loses it will eventually make him a much better fighter. Ishe Smith is a serious challenge for anyone, let alone a prospect stepping up in class for the first time.

Even though I hate on Smith, I admit his style makes it difficult for just about anyone to look good.

Smith is a douchebag of ginormous proportions, but he's a effective, underrated fighter who is going to give problems to anyone (barring the elites). He's a very dangerous fight for a prospect to take in his first step up in class. Look at what happened to Wolak.

Jacobs has much to learn. He might have to do it tonight and I think he will.Didn't care for his swagger in fight before last, just mugging it up..distracted and acting like he's already been validated.Ishe does not attack, baits and waits. Not done much of anything lately except lose last few big ones.Think Contender did not help after beating Estrada and Bailey.
