Once Pacquiao beats Cotto he is gonna get beaten by Mayweather and then people will say Floyd is scared of Shane and if he beats Shane they will say Shane is too old and Floyd waited till he was out of his prime and then a fighter on the up will beat shane via stoppage and people will say it proves he is ready for mayweather

It won't happen, I favor Pacquiao too heavily against Cotto. The footspeed will be too much for Cotto.

H, thats what I got too..... I really think that scenario works out for sure....... I don't think Pac will be able to take Cottos power atall.....

Taeth, I know Pac is better all round no doubt, but, I wonder how fast Paulie Malignaggi is compared to Pac, because Cotto sure as hell caught up with him ok.

Pac still has good power at 140 and up along with very good speed. Paulie doesn't have the power for his opponent's to respect him.

I don't think Pac is better all round, I just think Cotto can't move quick enough, you can't hit what you can't catch. Pacquiao will use distance the same way he did against Hatton and Oscar who are both much faster(of foot) than Cotto. You guys will be saying this outcome was obvious 5 months down the road and that Cotto was weight drained and/or washed up.

cotto-floyd was the dream match up this time 18 months ago

not anymore though, margacheato damaged him in a big way

cotto is shot and pac should be too much for him. But floyd will absoloutely batter pac and take him out within 8

Really? I say it playing out that Mayweather stomps Marquez and Pacquiao and then retires and critics (correctly) say that for all of his greatness it is a shame he never fought a true welterweight. And if Cotto comes out on top in his fight against Pacquiao, Mayweather probably retires after the Marquez fight or has a rematch with Hatton. There is a reason he is called "money" Mayweather. No one is rooting for Pacquiao to win more than Mayweather.
