I'm not even arguing Couture's as good as Penn or anything I don't think that, but Couture has fought bigger guys too, almost all the time at heavyweight. He's also got a lot of good wins.

Anyway there's no point in going around in circles, I'll just say again no way anyone could ever convince me he's mediocre. Chris Leben is mediocre to me, we must have vastly different standards of mediocrity.

ok a few good wins, but this guy is hailed as the crown jewel of MMA and he has 6 more wins than losses

I mean cmon dude, Randy is not in the same league as guys like Nogs, Fedor, Rampage, Shogun, Wand Silva etc

I don't know about that Chris Leben example, he kind of sucks. Maybe I just don't like him. Nah I'd still consider him mediocre.

OK but as far as him not being in that group, that's being overrated, I don't even disagree totally that he's overrated.

I always thought Wanderlei was a bit overrated
