Meh, Mijares is such a classic example of a fighter only bein a good as his last fight. So many of us had him fighting his near perfect technical style against Darchinyan, using those ring smarts and patience, pacing himself wisely to a win and making it a great fight. Boy were we wrong. It all fell apart, quickly...
Win and you got the world at your grasp. Lose, and you're yesterdays news.

No doubt. As if that first hard shot flipped a switch,he just fought a dumb fight and tried to bang far to much,Vic stronger. He could have boxed much better but played right into Vic.
Ironic that of all people it was normally face first Agbeko who ended up boxing rings around him from start to finish.

If James Toney comes in light as he has promised I will be interested in this fight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Don't really care too much about the Toney fight at this point!
I think Mijares gets revenge this time around, the 1st fight was close but Mijares didn't look good!
I'm quite looking forward to the Nietes/ Vargas this week! Nietes has good skills but Vargas is also a pretty good fighter
