I'm picking up a load of hot peppers on Friday which I'm going to charcoal with other stuff. I haven't worked out anything else yet apart from the peppers. I have a good feeling that against all the odds it's going to be a great fight to watch.

As the fights are always morning time where I am and I get too nervous the night before a big fight, I intend to get royally drunk the night before and watch it with a steaming hangover. There is no other way.
Go Marquez, shut that horrid cakehole of Floyds up once and for all! I would like nothing more than a shocker of a result on a par with Pac/Delahoya with Marquez strolling back up to the position of best fighter in the world.
The odds are against it, but one can live in hope if nothing else.
think we`ll all be royally hungover come the fight
i got so pissed for mayweather-de la hoya when i woke up the next morning i couldnt even remember what had happened and had to rewatch the fight to see
Got £20 down with a friend of mine that marquez puts mayweather on his back early on!!
one dangerous horrible bloke
I'm going for Floyd to beat JMM, Cotto to beat Pac and then Floyd to beat Cotto
And if Paul Williams was a bit smaller he would beat them all![]()
I dont know who to pick. Marquez has enough skill to get mayweather into trouble, it will be his timing that will upset floyds speed. But floyd just always has the right game plan and he is so hard to hit. So i guess im leaning towards floyd but i wouldnt not be surprised if there was an upset.
Yeh I agree mate, I wouldn't be at all surprised. I think Floyd will win based on his physical advantages, but taking into consideration his length of time out of the ring and the fact that JMM is actually not too bad himselfI think a lot of people are a bit too sure that this is a foregone conclusion

[quote=BIG H;786168]Ive honestly never seen marquez deliberately on the back foot
the guy is very much your typical featherweight brawler who just likes to stand and trade. Gonna be such a big ask for juan not just because of this but in that he`ll be jumping up 2 weight divisions where his punches wont have as much effect on floyd as they did say with diaz.
Hope to god JMM has a strong b/c game for his sake because if he fights his usual aggressive self he is just gonna walk on to floyd counters all night long!!
one dangerous horrible bloke
Marquez will be pulled out of there round 8, question is will nacho show more compassion for Juan and pull him out earlier than DLH or will Nacho leave him to preserve his warrior status?
You do realize Floyd is rested, strong and sharp... JMM is a stud but he is going to school to learn a hard lesson Sat night.
There still is a win win here. If PBF and Cotto win, without a doubt you will see a Pac JMM 3

I'm a Floyd fan & have a load of people coming over who'll be rooting for him on Saturday night, but there is no way that JMM is just showing up to be rolled over. Mayweather is not a big welter & he's not a guy who uses his weight or strength.
I think this is tough whilst it lasts & no way does JMM quit, the guy just doesn't have it in him. I am far more worried about this fight for Mayweather than I was about Hatton or De La Hoya, both of which I was far more confident he'd win, even with Oscar's huge size advantage. Simply put, because Marquez is a greater fighter than either of those guys.
I think Mayweather wins, possibly with a late TKO, but he will have to dig deep to do so.
