definitely good for a laugh. How a guy like that can end up running a country is beyond me, he's really out there. Razor sharp? He certainly doesn't give me that impression when he goes on one of his rants. Like yapping little dog, but he does seem to be able to throw his weight around in his own country.

I really don't know that much about him. It seems like I should really find out more about him given my political leanings, but I suspect he's not quite the socialist he claims to be, just like all the others.

He strikes me as the sort of guy who likes to talk tough against the big boys, because he can, it makes him feel strong, regardless of whether or not it is good for his country. But a solid guy he ain't.

That's sort of the impression I get as well. He seems like he plays lip-service to socialism (though from what I've read he has enacted some socialist reforms) but some of the things he does strike me as seriously detrimental to the people of his country. However, again, I'm not educated enough on the subject to have a real opinion, that's just the impression I get. I really want to learn more about him now, the South American socialist movement is fascinating to me yet I know almost nothing about it.
