Post fight Mayweather and Mosely!!

PBF is going to go with the biggest purse. And lets be real here fellas. If Pac wins then PBF/Pac is the biggest fight in boxing. Even though we all realize that PBF/Mosley is the best fight in boxing the business is make most that you can with the lowest risk. Mosley is my favorite fighter but I'm an honest boxing fan and Mosley will get it handed to him by PBF. I like the fight but the only guy at welterweight I see beating PBF is PWill. As much as I hate to say it Mosley falls victim to a good jab too much and if Cotto can box circles around him then lets be real...

115-113 either way is hardly boxing circles around... I mean if a guy two weight classes smaller than floyd can go the distance after being floored early in the fight shane doesn't stand a chance lets be real

When I say box circles I don't mean figureatively I mean literally. Cotto was outboxing Mosley by using circles. That is exactly the footwork PBF uses and should have no problem doing that especially if Cotto can. And someone going the distance with PBF is not relevant as no one even PBF's daddy thinks PBF has a chance to KO Mosley. It would be a clear boxing decision... nothing else. Mosley beating PBF is a hangover from the Margarito victory. 2 of the Mosley's last 3 fights he looked a little above ordinary. Mosley is my favorite fighter and I remember clearly when he turned down PBF. And now I that Mosley is doing the calling out I know how to keep it real and see it for what it is...a last big payday or two before riding off into the sunset.

Who turned down who is irrelevant now...because right now shane's last fight he's sandblasted margo, that's what people remember that's what will be use to promote a fight with floyd. two years ago doesn't matter. What happened tonight was floyd when faced with shane in his face he said

He didn't say "you turned it down already"

nor did he say "you're a sparring partner"

or "you have five losses"

he said "shane is a great fighter" and "i defer to my handlers".... What happened to all the tough guy shit he was saying when mosely wasn't in his face?

Point is a fight with shane is more competitive than a one sided lesson he will give to pacman or even a clearly faded Cotto (who hasn't looked the same since margo)...

Why are some people in here trying to dismiss a Floyd/Mosley fight? The way I see it, Floyd has only three viable opponents right now and after November it will be down to two viable opponents.

Cotto, Pacquiao and Mosley is the only list that matters. That list will get reduced to two as either Cotto or Pacquiao will fall from the short list in a month.

It is a natural fight. Shane is getting up there so the fight should happen sooner rather than later.

I'd rather see PBF - Pac/Cotto (Pac) or PBF - Willaims, but I would not complain at all about PBF- Mosley if the other two fights were not made. I just don't think it would be as competitive a fight as the other two.

We will never see Floyd go anywhere near Paul Williams. It will never happen under any circumstances. Pac/Cotto is a good one yes, but even the winner between them could get sidelined due to injury etc. Mosley is available and ready. It is a natural fight and one that could get put together for January.

Totally agree. A Mayweather/Mosley fight makes a lot of sense. It's about time Mayweather started fighting WW's again.

Mosley will have to totally dominate clottey or floyd will use it as an excuse not to fight him, much like fighting judah after he lost to baldomir
