He has shown himself to be far from honest, duplicitous in fact. And he is quite content to ignore questions and say that it is all in the past. The boxing public should be well aware of what they might be getting before going to see Mayweather in action or splashing out on a Mayweather PPV.
In the post-fight press conference, Mayweather actually did answer the question. He said that he realized he wasn't going to be able to make 144 2 days before the weigh-in, but that he still tried to make 145 on the day of the fight by running on the treadmill in the morning, & that on his scales he was 145.2. I suspect him not answering it post-fight was him taking it that Kellerman was asking that as an accusation.
