Possibly to keep crap like what happened Saturday to a minimum. I know he said that constantly during the fight. Floyd did his job and looked super, but he isn't 120-107 better than JMM at 130-or-135..the extra power deterred JMM from throwing. The jabs looked like power punches.

I think you are...JMM was gun shy and his speed suffered in going up in weight. Yeah floyd would have won but if Castillo managed a near win and 116-112 scored card in the rematch JMM certainly would have given floyd more trouble at that weight

The OP is spot on in what he says. A natural 130 pounder should not be fighting a fully fledged WW. We saw why last weekend.
