You had to quote me when the post was all messed up! Just took 10 mins fixing the cunt
...easy enough to stop Floyd from doing that...FOUL HIM.
one dangerous horrible bloke
I swear if someone just nailed him in the kidney every time he ducked like that he'd stop ducking like that.
Someone needs a KILLER INSTINCT to beat Floyd....don't worry about getting a point taken from you, just foul the mother fucker because he's breaking the rules as well and I figure as long as you don't hit him purposely behind the head the ref will be more leniant on you. A couple stiff punches to the kidneys would slow Floyd down a bit.
...you're right good luck getting past that
As I said before all GREAT fighters bend the rules
Wlad is abnormally strong and is gigantic in stature and he leans on his opponents many times. it's illegal.
he needs that strength and height though. otherwise his style would be completely useless.
I think it would be great to see someone try and beat Floyd by trying to really rough him up. Cotto might actually be a good choice for that. Floyd acts like a dick by breaking the rules and the ref ignores it, then just go on and do something yourself. Might still end up losing a point, but it would be interesting to see how Floyd responds. More opponents should bring Floyds faults to the attention of the referee both prior to and during the fight as well.
Those pictures Kel showed were good because you see just how often Floyd bends to his knees in a bizarre attempt to neutralise his opponent. What's next? Two opponents avoiding any punches by both waddling around bent down to their knees? That's not boxing.
the refs don't "ignore" it. that's the dumbest shit i've ever heard. a lot of those pictures Kel showed were borderline cases anyway. like i said, it's up to the refs to catch it.
plus, boxing would be terribly frustrating to watch if every single illegal move was called by the ref.
the fight was a clinic, period. it's clear some of you will never give PBF any credit because you simply don't like the man. i'm not fond of his personality, but i love watching him in the ring.

They do ignore it. Like they ignore things from a lot of fighters. Elbows in faces, excessive holding, low blows, continually ducking intentionally low. I don't think referees enforce these things enough at all. And I am not talking specifically about Mayweather here. There needs to be consistency applied and rules applied so that at the end of the day the fans get a good fight. That is what matters at the end of the day. Rules need to be enforced to do that.
It might even make fights more interesting. Hatton being docked a couple of points against Urango would have been quite fun. As would Cotto in some of his fights where he has landed unusually low. Mayweather could have been taken a point for the elbows in the face in a number of fights. Hopkins could have been docked a point for constantly trying to cuddle Calzaghe.
Nothing wrong with docking a point if something is against the rules and used too much to try and force an advantage. It would make fights more above board and fan friendly. It would be a good thing.
