That might happen but Williams jaw seems to be pretty fine and I am sure he can sustain enough to resist, especially at the rate where Pavlik throws things.
Eagle: This is incredibly freak, actually, William has the same reach as the Klitschko brothers more or less, that says a lot.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
What do u mean all of a sudden? The guy has been Middleweight champ since September 2007. He got beaten by an alltime great 10 pounds over his best weight, but other than that has beaten all his other opponents when fighting at 160 comprehensively.
He doesnt throw 100s of punches a round but he is very active for a middleweight, and couple that with Williams ridiculous output and u have high punch stats.
Middleweight at the moment is about as weak as the Heavyweights.
Pavlik is a good fighting champion but he isn't what's going to revitalize the middleweight division.
However I think he has a chance to beat Williams, Williams has a tendancy to go defensive only after he gets tagged by something or gets "stunned" as he puts it, against Pavlik he cannot afford that, he is gonna have to fight smart, I won't hesitate to say if he fights Pavlik the same way he fought Margarito chances are he'll get floored.
I see Williams starting fast but then wilting under the heavier shots of Pavlik in the later rounds. Kelly by 11th round TKO.
slightly harsh
Pavlik, Williams, Abraham, Winky and then theres the endless 154/168ers that could drop up and down.
This fight needed to happen for the divisions sake though. Sauerland and pavliks team spent so long keeping kelly and AA away from eachother its good to see a high quality middleweight contest at long last.
Gonna bank on Williams every day of the week on this one. Pavlik will have the power but PWs just gonna dominate with that superior footwork and handspeed all night long
PW to take a very unanimous 118-110 esque points win!!
one dangerous horrible bloke
A white, media-friendly, working-class 'hero', from a salt of the earth place like Youngstown isn't going to revitalize the division or at least interest in it?
Whilst an quiet, freakish lookin dude from Georgia will?
One man can't revitalize a division, but there can't realistically be any debate over which of the two man has the greater star potential.
This is the only fight in this division till the likes of Jacobs & Korobov push on. I'm hoping Williams wins, pretty much guaranteeing a rematch. I do like PWill a lot, but I think this 'he's avoided stuff' has been well & truly overplayed. I also think he can't make 147 any more & I'd like to see a welter call him out on it, just to see if he could make the limit. I reckon Williams does just enough to eek out a narrow win in a close fight, setting up a bigger money rematch
Williams will send Pavlik back to rehab with his victory. I see it going like the Margarito fight, but I think Williams has improved since then considerably. He has learned a lot from his loss and has been annihilating his opposition to either KO or wide UD.
I don't think Pavlik will be dropped but I think it will be pretty one sided. Pavlik will get frustrated like he did with BHop and when that happened he just dug himself deeper into a hole and had no back up plan.
I hear that. I wonder why Pavlik took this fight. He had a tv date with Mora who is a much easier opponent. He then could have unified the division by fighting and beating Sturm even if it was for less money thereby prolonging his seat on top of the middleweight division and when time came, he could have someone like Bute or Williams.
I guess a win over Pwill puts Pavlik back on the map in terms of big name fights, but it just seems like a lot of risk right now.
