What an awesome night of boxing and a very good good match up I was not feeling the rumored Mosley vs Clottey anyways.

shit Martinez should have 2 wins over Cintron already, speaks volumes about Martinez and Clottey by the mere fact that they're willing to take each other on, should be a good fight, but i'm picking Martinez by UD

Nice fight. I think, depending on how Clottey handles the move up in weight, that this fight could resemble the Cotto fight with Martinez outworking and outscoring Clottey while Clottey lands the cleaner shots.

The problem with Clottey is that he always seems to lose closely enough that no one wants to fight him. If he'd won his big fights he would be a draw and a target obviously, but because he loses in very close fashion no one wants to fight him.

Here's an update, not close to happening yet.

If this comes off, it would be a great fight, so I hope that they work things out, because this would be a great double header card to see.

Martinez needs to get back in the ring! He's going down the path of too many talents nowadays. The general public needs to see fighters at his level more often so can get a steady following.

Why are these guys fighting at 154? Is martinez the guy that was beating Cintron around the ring like he was Calzaghe?

Yes. Martinez is a natural 154'er, that's where he beat Cintron (twice). I'd imagine Clottey is moving up because he is a massive welter and no one, not even Mosley apparently, will fight him at 147.

he already fights at about 160 when it comes to fight night, don't think the weight would really be a big problem
