Will rep you when I can because I like a lot of what you are saying here. Glad to see another person calling it a robbery too as I seem to be in the minority on this thread in feeling that way about this fight.

It's obvious that most people do actually think Malignaggi won. Any fighter with integrity would accept this and try to set the record straight, but not the little blubbery seal. He knows he is limited and on the wane and is looking to cash out now having lost to two old men and having struggled big time with powderpuff.

"Marquez, please fight me again. Hatton please stop drinking beer and please, please, please give me a payday...". It just seems a bit desperate and I can see both fighters busting up Diaz something rotten. Meanwhile the guy who won more of the rounds against Diaz is high and dry and not even on the radar for a rematch. It says everything about Diaz and where his honesty and heart lie to me.

Paulie was quite right to call out the judges after the fight too. It gets that judges name out there, so more can be aware. If boxing had any dignity faulty judges would be investigated and booted for repeatedly scoring fights waywardly. Boxing is full of shit and I was glad to see Paulie have his outburst, because it was the truth. It gets harder to be a boxing fan with this kind of carry on. I can see a time where as a fan, enough becomes enough.

What fighter has EVER called out the judges for giving THEM the victory.

I cannot think of any, but it would be a fantastic precedent in boxing were it to happen. I think I might have standards that make me distinct from the rest of the human race though.

What's strange though is that in MMA they have an entirely different culture.

I remember Chris Leben winning a close decision a couple years back and in the post fight interview saying he felt he was lucky to get the win and he thought his opponent deserved it, and many times fighters will pay tribute to their losing opponent and say they were unlucky not to get the decision and that the fight could have gone either way.

The ref's are more honest too with Herb Dean recently admitting he made a mistake in stopping a fight to early.

There's sportsmanship in snooker too, with on several occasions a player being know to declare a foul on himself if he accidently touched a ball whilst setting up a shot even though the referee has missed it.

Some sports simply have more integrity than others. Boxing, like football (soccer) just has very little for the most part.

Interesting to see MMA having more honesty within it's ranks. I have never watched MMA properly and always thought of it as an ugly sport with men rolling around on the floor. But if those men have moral backbone then I might need to start paying more attention. It gets boring watching a sport where the top level fighters earn so much money and give so little back to the fans in terms of a basic level respect. The other guy got robbed, well at least say you think so too! Don't bullshit and just say he was "real slick" 200 times.

Boxing seems overrun with dastardly hyena's all out for what they can get. Promoters, judges and the fighters too. Honesty is sorely lacking. There are good guys somewhere in the midst but they are overrun and swarmed by the multitudes who lack these basic character attributes.
