He blew any hope of a rematch when he asked for more money than the entire budget that HBO was willing to put up for the rematch. DiBella & Berto were always trying to make it but Collazo wanted more money. He blew the chance of a rematch, just like he blew the final few rounds in a fight that was almost his. I like his style a lot, but like his pal Paulie, he's managed to blow a deserved rematch by thinking he's worth more than he is. Must be something about the air in Brooklyn![]()
one dangerous horrible bloke
go re-watch Hatton/Castillo to help you forget about the thrashings that Mayweather and Pacquiao gave him
if it's any comfort, i think it's fucked up the way that Mayweather get's all these spots on WWE, especially after seeing how Hatton can take a face full of turnbuckle!!!!![]()

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
He's retired and I wanted to keep the discussion to fighters still fighting, but Calzaghe would have laid to rest any doubt on his standing if he had fought and beat a prime Chad Dawson. Not that I doubt his standing amongst the greats, but some people did, and a win over a prime Bad Chad one division up from where he fought his whole career would have cemented him as an ATG.
On that note, I'd like to see Floyd fight Shane and Paul Williams. Beating them would do a lot for his standing too. Moreso than beating Pacquiao in my book.
Both Floyd and Joe never lost a fight and suffer the same criticism. Both are fighters who could lay it to rest by taking one or two more fights.
as said mayweather vs mosely
and wlad vs haye
