When I went to see Joe he was trying to justify why he should stay retired rather than who he would comeback to fight. He didnt seem like a guy who had the passion anymore.
I think he will stay retired. I cant see who he will comeback for.

He wont be back he hasnt got the hunger no more.
I agree, not rulng out a return but would rather him not as he doesn't have the hunger. I just keep thinking of his lax preparation for Hopkins, when he was ringside for a stablemate less than an hour before, I mean what other top fighter does that? Last 3 fights he really had to think on his feet after a lackluster 1st few rounds.
I don't see him coming back. If there was a huge PPV fight for him then he would have done it before he retired but there isn't one so he won't unretire. The UK TV market is garbage now too, he's only going to come back for a shedload of dough and a shedload isn't available.
He'll stay retired...there is nothing for him to prove at 168 and less than nothing to prove at 175.
Unless Chad Dawson lays out Glen Johnson in stunning fashion Calzaghe will stay retired
I only think he would come back for a big money fight. It's a long shot, but I could see it happening if Jermain Taylor or Carl Froch won the Super Six. Carl Froch v. Joe Calzaghe for British supremacy would be huge in Britain (I think at least). Jermain Taylor already has a big name and a fight with Calzaghe would bring a lot of cash to the table in the US and Britain.
Yes
I don't see him coming back, although as has been said he does have a history of changing his mind. There is nothing big enough for him now, and it would be too late by the time there was.
I think he timed his retirement just right - his skills were not as sharp in his last 2 fights, he was down in the last 2 and against Salem not long before that, and his power seemed to recede with each fight. Not saying he was finished, far from it, but he was only going one way.
Although having said that this has been the longest period his hands have had pain free in 20 years. If he did come back i picture a spectacular and unexpected knockout! (for him)
