Dirrell looks more imposing than Froch, bigger head and neck, could be wrong have to look at the vitals again..

Dirrell has electrifying handspeed, he looks a bit like Roy Jones the way he fires off punches. The similarities end there, but I think Andre in all his retardation is going to clown Froch all night... Then you'll really see some chicken neckin. Good news for Floyd, this cat seems like he can be more outrageous than him, strap a belt on that dude and you'll never hear the end of it

You know maybe it's just because I dislike Froch so much, but he seemed to lose his cool there when he kind of muttered, 'you've never met anybody on this level'. I get the impression he's too quick dismiss anything Dirrell might have. As in his comments today (I know shocking for the notoriously respectful Mr Froch)

The most curious quote - "He’s not going to bring it to me and knock me out, you cannot have fast hands and be powerful. It’s not a worry."

I don't know if it's just me, but this reminded me a lot of pretty much everything Ricky Hatton said before the Mayweather fight. As for the impossibility of fast hands & power, has he not heard of Roy Jones Jr, Manny Pacquiao & Sugar Ray Leonard

Anyway as for the video, I think Tarver is a great choice, say what you like but he has a great TV personality, he knows his stuff & is a pretty intelligent guy. I think Showtime have made a great choice there, it will be like the good old days when HBO had RJJ.

You have to wonder about Froch a little bit. He is obviously quite arrogant when talking about his super power and incredible record. I just wonder if the last couple of fights might have gone to his head a little.

I hope not because a slickster like Dirrell is not just going to be there to be hit, so it could be a long nights work if Froch hasn't covered all the eventualities.

I never cared about Froch one way or another but after some of these interviews I hope he loses. Especially hearing him say he has fought top opposition all through his career. That coupled with the arrogance and saying Dirrell is unprofessional for not making weight first attempt tells me he can be a bit of a drama queen.

I'm no fanboy of Froch but I think everyone is being a bit hard on him. Dirrell's comments leading up to the fight have been a little dis-respectful. Froch is just retaliating and not even an over the top way.

Dirrell comes across as the idiot in that press conference if you ask me, and he only had 10 seconds to speak and achieve that!

One thing that's always annoyed me, not just with Froch but all fighters. When they come out with the 'you've never fought anyone of my caliber'... That may be true but that doesn't mean fuck all really, experience will help but generally the better fighter will win.
