You cant of seen much boxing matches then mate.I thought Dirrel won by 2/3 rounds but it was his own fault he needed to do abit more which he could of but he chose not to.

I could quite happily never watch another Dirrell fight for the rest of my life!

If you scored the first couple of rounds even then I think Dirrell pipped it, but if you score them to Froch because Dirrell is jumping around the ring (whilst I admit his reactions were first rate) trying to avoid a fight then he pipped it.

Either way it was a terrible fight, and actually I do want to see see Dirrell fight again because Abraham is going to catch him and knock him sparko. Oh but dear Lord, can you imagine how quickly he's going to run away from AA

Kessler/Froch will be a cracker though and seeing as Carl has Abraham after that he may well end up with just the two points. I still think he'll be in the semis though as I can see Taylor and Dirrell losing all three. *Edit* Taylor and Dirrell are due to face each other in round three so obviously that can't happen. Allan Green is the stanby fighter, apparently, should Taylor, or anyone else, pull out of the tournament.

Dirrel did an awful lot of holding,he was doing a great job at messing Froch around just needed afew more combinations from him instead of been on the run all time and i recon he would of got the win.

    Two quotes:

Froch: "If you're not going to stand and fight like a man, like a warrior, then all I can do is take what's there."

Dirrell: "I thought I held him off enough, boxed him enough to get a decision."

I thought I held him off enough?! You don't score points for dodging punches.

The guy compares himself to Roy Jones, and I'll admit he's halfway there as he looks like RJJ going backwards!

Grrr... not been this annoyed with a fighter since Sven Ottke
