Obviously she was portraying the nightmare for non-English speaking ethnic minorities, but would someone that REALLY couldn't speak English, someone NOT secretly filming have acted like that? I'm not sure.

The guy stopped to ask why they told him to walk in the road. IF he was suffering weeks of abuse and finally decided to confront the lowlifes, his actions would have been understandable. Or if he thought fuck this i'm not letting these cunts speak to me like that, his actions would have been understandable. But he acted like a thicko.

Basically what I'm saying is they acted like two well educated undercover reporters playing passive roles to get a story. And therefore some of the situations were intensified. Judging by the replies it was an eye-opener for many just how disgusting the abuse is that many people have to suffer. So that's a good thing.
Fenst this reminds of an 'expose' of the Royal Mail a couple years. Again some undercover reporters got jobs there and one cited how she was given her mail route and no directions about how to get to the streets etc. She just wondered around aimlessly for hours and couldn't deliver anything because of this, saying how bad it was that the managers had just given a route with no training.

I was screaming at the telly at the stupid bitch, saying 'Use your fucking initiative you dumb bitch and go in a shop and pick up a fucking streetmap!!!'

That just pissed me off, ok they were chronically shortstaffed and didn't have time to train her but you'd hope a real new adultemployee would at least try and think for themselves....
I saw that as well Bilbo, but it wasn't quite the same. There were numerous incidents of ethnic minorities being viciously assaulted even as the program was being made, so it clearly was an issue. I disagree with Fenster in this, when you live on an estate, often you just can't avoid going past certain places & although on one occasion I thought the reaction was stupid, I generally thought they behaved in a way that did show what life would be like for an ethnic minority on that estate.
Yeah I know what you are saying. I have no doubt that there is genuine mutual dislike and racism in these places.
