Default Should Nonito Donaire remain rated at 112?

Should Nonito Donaire (currently #2 at 112 & #9 at 115) remain rated at 112?

As he is rated in another division after 6 months his 112 rating should be reviewed. His last fight at this weight was his KO victory over Raul Martinez on the 19th of April ‘09

I assume you mean 115 & yeah, he should only be rated there, he's said he cannot make 112 anymore, plus it creates a championship fight between Naito & Kameda.

Yeah sorry, the vote should read 115 only (not 130), it will be interesting to see if the committee wants Naito/ Kameda for the championship, I'll be all for it!

Default Who fills #9 at Light-Flyweight

I was thinking to leave this division, but there's only 2 scheduled fights for the rest of the year & only one of these involves a pool member (Rodel Mayol vs Edgar Sosa).

I say we elect at least one of these guys in there to fill the vacancy & I would also recommend anyone to vote in candidates to the pool so that we can fill these vacancies up.

So yeah make your vote count blah blah etc etc

    * Kayo has been replaced by Ryo Miyazaki who decisioned him last week.

I voted Mayol because I feel he's been gutsy and energic enough to deserve one of these spots.

The problem is there are only two scheduled light-flyweight fights for the rest of the year. We don't want to have two vacancies in a weightclass, we should aim to have a full 10. This weightclass is pretty dead outside of the Top 6, so I think voting in the vacancies is the only way to do it. If the guys are crap, they'll be outta there soon enough.

Fair enough points. I can see where your coming from. But I think in this type of situation, Instead of voting I think the manager in charge should just be allowed to pick. The reasons behind that are cuz it's an obscure division. Not to many people follow it. So they most likely will just pick the name they know or recently heard of. In this case (Due to his recent title fights with Calderon) would be Mayol. A fighter I don't think deserves it considering he has 4 losses and only 3 wins in his last 8 fights. I would round off the top 10 with Ryo Miyazaki at 9 and Adrian Hernandez at 10

I think the vote should decide, I agree that not many follow the lower weights & I agree with your choices but I think its a situation that could become messy. If there's a vote no one can moan.

If you change your vote to Miyazaki that should get him in at 9. Then we can vote on tenth.

I agree with Jaz that we need to try for complete ratings, or top 9 at the very least.

Cool, I'm happy for you to pick. I'd seen Hernandez fight twice on Italian cards & wasn't overly impressed, whilst Mayol at least fought relatively even with Calderon over 2 fights, even if I had him losing. Haven't seen Miyazaki so can't comment there.

Hell, I'll change my vote to Miyazaki if needs be, both you & Galaxy have more knowledge of these fighters than I do, so I'll trust in your opinions.
