I thinks it's a combination of several things. I think it also had to do with the combinations and the fashion in which he threw them. Going upstairs and downstairs.

I remember Adameks wars with Briggs and he is one tough bastard. I thought Briggs won the second fight but lost the first. How Adamek managed to stay up after some of the bombs briggs landed was beyond me.

    2 brutal fights...

A friend of mine sat ringside for both fights and he said it was 2 of the greatest moments in sports for him.
He was on his feet throughout the fights and hardly sat if at all.

You know something a lot of fighters don't recover after a fight like that, evenmore after 2 fights like that.
Briggs himself disappeared after the 2 fights.

Funny that the ref grabbed the wrong fighter when he was stopping the fight hahahaha Polish people, always good for a laugh

Golota was heavy...I guess he thought it was going to be more of an exhibition match.

Anyone think Adamek could stay at heavyweight and do anything, 6'1 214 is TINY, but IMO as tough and as sound of a fighter as Adamek is, I'm sure he could pick off a couple guys.

What do you about him against Solis? I think there are a decent number of heavyweights he could do well against, I think he struggles against any heavyweight with a decent jab (Wlad, Vitali, Johnson, Thompson etc.)
but with all the lesser skilled guys at Heavy he has a great shot at.

Solis has good technique but he can be lazy in the ring and if anyone could take advantage of that it's Adamek.

Adamek-JC Gomez could be a solid fight, but I think people would be very interested in Adamek-Haye...just because that would have been nice to see at cruiserweight. I think at heavyweight Haye would bully him while at cruiserweight Haye may be weight drained while Adamek would be full of energy.

....must be something in the water. Or he may have been overcome by his surroundings

Funny how bad people praise this dude and try to discredit that Dawson beat his ass. He gave no excuses so why are fans quick to. Hopkins see's the same thing happening to him so he'll use excuses to avoid Dawson like the plague

Apparently briggs has a medical problem, something to do with his nervous system that has forced him to retire. Its too bad, everyone talked about green/mundine and all that shit....how good of a fight would of Briggs and danny green been? It would of been a massive brawl and I would of loved to see that.
