Did they pay thousands of pounds for the privilage??
Both Tyson and Ali would sell out arenas in countries that neither fighter that was involved in were natives of the country, and there was always a huge buzz
Ali/Frazier III - Phillipines
Ali/Foreman- Zaire
Tyson/Douglas (who wasn't even really considered a real test)- Japan
all sold out, obviously they didn't make as much money cause things weren't as expensive as now, if those fights would have taken place today it would have made millions more than anything Hatton has been in, anyone can get their hometown fans to fly over and break bank to go see them, even Taylor and Pavlik do that, but the real impressive thing is if you can get a country who has nothing to do with you to back you up, which both Tyson and Ali have done
So your admitting that after ali/tyson, hatton is the most popular sportsman of all time!!
very well said morales, youve gone up in my estimations now
one dangerous horrible bloke
