holyfield was in his complete prime against lennox and was regarded before the fight as the best in the world fighting for the biggest sporting prize this sport has ever known the undisputed heavyweight championship.

When he fought Ruiz he was a beaten fighter fighting for a version of a title that had little or no interest.
