If Williams has an offnight, Martinez will make Quintana's first performance against Williams look very mediocre. Martinez is THE premier sharp shoot at light middle IMO, but Williams volume cannot be ignored. Martinez is excellent at owning the range and he hit Cintron hard enough for Kermit to think it was a headbutt.

I take Williams late TKO, but I give Martinez a better shot than I was giving Pavlik.

Just one readers opinion of course.
Absolutley right.Martinezs skillset makes Pavliks appear to be stuck in concrete. No doubt he has a better all around gameplan, multi geared rather than a one deminsional Pavlik.

If Williams sleeps on him, he'll be collecting a big 'L'.Totally agree. But I just dont see it with rejuvinated and healthier Williams at this weight.Cintrons problems was tons of solid Martinez and just a bit of himself to me,and still managed to make it after being KO'd in there.I think Martinez needs spurts of a buffer, distance and Williams will very well take it from him.Better quality fight for sure.
