Do you think Marg cheated against Cotto?

Yeah I'm fairly certain he did. Cotto had beaten Mosley and Mosley had looked shit against Mayorga so I see no reason he'd think to cheat after the performance against Cotto if he hadn't already done it before. People cheat because of lack of belief in their own abilities. If he didn't cheat against Cotto in what is considered his best win, then why cheat against Mosley who was inactive and underperforming?

The 2nd fight, I agree for sure. I believe he took this action after Williams beat him, as he felt he'd never get another chance if he lost again.

Look from minute 1:56 and on. Look at him when he's being interviewed by Max with his hands up high to everybody's view while he's talking in front of all cameras, boxing experts, and so on. Is there a possibility that he cheated? OF COURSE! But I still think it would be a bit dumb for someone who cheated with his handwraps to be parading them all over the place, not hiding at all, and even in the interview knowing the cameras are showing and recording everything. Also, how can we explain the fact that Cotto's punches didn't do a thing and he kept walking through them with ease? Unless he injected plaster in his face.

Yes but the more you get away with something the more confident you become with it, not to mention the knuckle pad (which is what is covered in plaster) is under the wraps. I agree with someone else on here who said he probably started using them after the Williams fight, he needed to start winning big and he totally destroyed Cintron in even better fashion in the second fight to the first.

But really how can looking at Cotto's face be weak evidence?? Was it weak evidence for Billy Collins? Cotto's nose was busted up bad very early, i think it was the second round. Marg is not a huge puncher and Cotto is one tough bastard too. I can see where people are coming from saying we can't be sure, but in them cases common sense should prevail and common sense to me points to Margarito being a cheat and not just against Mosley but against others including Cotto!

Nobody can say for sure but I think there's a lot more reason to say yes I think he used them than no I don't think he did. Its all speculation but there's reason to believe he did.

And Cotto didn't fight the right fight and yes he got hit clean a lot plaster or no plaster. I think Mosley would have always been a tougher fight stylistically for Margo but that doesn't mean Margo's wraps were necessarily clean for the Cotto fight.

Mosley landed quite a few bombs on Cotto too but his face didnt look like it did after the Margo fight. and i consider Mosley a much harder puncher than Margs..
