Poor Audley had all the tools and pedigree to become champion of the world, and along with Tyrell Biggs, is the only other olympian to have failed miserably, as far as I can remember.

Harrison's problem, basically was the olympics.
His dream as an amateur was always Olympic gold, but he hung around for far too long in order to win it.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks, and Audley didn't even turn pro until he was pushing 30, and shortly afterwards, seriously injured his rotator cuff while lifting weights for charity, which took away another 18 months of his pro career, as well as decreasing his abilities as a fighter.

What made things a little bit worse, is that Audley wasn't short of confidence, and inspite mediocre performances, insisted he was gonna be 'the man'. Unfortunately, he was acutely deluded.
