That's it. You don't fight inside with Valuev because of what he IS. It has nothing to do with his ability.

Valuev landed 1 clean punch that i can remember...
Haye landed about 7
Haye won![]()
yea i'm clearly a Valuev fan although i said that he's just as shitty as Haye, you're getting as bad and Xaduboxer with your blind love for Haye, and the difference between Haye and Adamek is that Adamek started as a LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT, and no if by some miracle Adamek lost to Haye i wouldn't be bitching and moaning and making excuses of him being too small, he already beat the hell out of a much bigger (although past his best) Golota, this isn't like the smaller weights where 10 lbs really make that much difference, i saw the fight and Haye won it, i'm not disputing it, i had him winning 116-112, but he clearly didn't do SHIT to prove he is anything special at HW, i felt Ruiz beat him both times, Holyfield beat him, and then the only other guy to legitimately get the nod Chagaev, all of them shorter than 6'4, so all of them in Haye's size range, so it never really had jack shit to do with size, only person on here too retarded to decipher that is you
how do you fight a guy that big ? with caution - exactly how he did
Never thought he would get decision as didnt do enough to take title in my book - though the more effective work was done by Haye.
Do wish he had gone for it more - watched it in pub and was a bit pissed so want to see replay of when he tagged Valuev in last round. was he actually hurt ??
Anyway he's got the title .
As already said many times :-
Punchers chance against Wlad
Vitali will kill him
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
He did his job. It was never going to be anything other than boring. He showed discipline to stick perfectly to the only gameplan that would have won him the fight.
He also was dealing with a suspected broken right hand from the 2nd round so that limited his attacking options.
Well done Haye, i thought he did very well.

Firstly, i'm very suprised he won the fight.
Secondly, i VERY VERY suprised that he ROCKED Valuev
And Thirdly, i'm pretty disapointed with some of the opinions shown here... Especially AMAT... Dude, WHAT THE FUK ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO WITH A 23 STONE MAN?!?!?
Your talking about Froch & Dirrel, two guys who are of exactly the same build and then comparing them to David & Goliath. This is madness... No wait, this is just dumb.
DUMB!
I've not had a look at anyone's pre fight/ post fight opinions but i'm gonna take a wild stab at the notion that all the guys who call the fight boring or Haye a runner or any of that negative shit MUST of been predicting a HAYE win or more likely a HAYE KNOCKOUT and are now just pissed becuase they dont know SHIT.
I got it wrong but i was actually pleasantly suprised at how dicsiplined Haye was. With enought in the tank to Rock Valuev in the last with a fucked hand. And yes the fight was boring but FUCKING HELL, WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO WITH A 7 STONE DEFICIT?!![]()
Some poeple just fuck me off with their stupidity...![]()

I think he has more than a punchers chance with Wlad. He is way faster than anyone Wlad has fought including Byrd, and Haye IMO hits damned hard and WILL land on Wlad before Wlad lands on him.
I might be way off with my prediction but I think Haye takes Wlad but agree he struggles with Vitali, then again how old is Vitali now? I think he's 38, that is getting on in anyone's book and I see Haye fighting Ruiz and Holyfield at least before he moves onto the Klits which would leave Vitali at 40 and Haye in his prime.
To be honest more than anything I am glad that finally the glamour division is being talked about by people on the streets, whether you like him or not the reason is David Haye and now he has the potential to be a star in the calibre of a Lennox Lewis (star not boxer), I think he will take on 4 or 5 beatable challengers before he fights either Klit so he can make himself a shit load of money whatever the outcome when he does fight them.
I don't generally like a lot of histrionics and don't really like the heavyweights that much, but a competitive and exciting heavyweight division is good for boxing as a whole. Even the image of competitiveness.
The Klitschkos are also incredibly bland characters:
"He is good fi'ter, but I train very hard for dis fight."
Rinse, dry and repeat.
Wladimir looks great when the going is good, but the slightest adversity and he folds like an accordion. As recently as the Ibragimov fight he was deadly scared to take any risks (and that did have a lot to do with Ibragimov's southpaw stance). If you hit Wlad, he will go down. The only question is if Haye can take advantage. When he hurt Valuev he ran in and smothered himself.
The thing about Haye is that he has the potential to beat ANYONE, but also the potential to lose to anyone. Even if he beats both Klitschkos (big if) he's just as likely to lose the title to an ordinary fighter soon after. He's dangerous because he's got balls, but that's also his vulnerability. Hopefully he will mature enough to be a more sensible risk-taker in the future (I cringed every time he switched to southpaw).
I'm not a Haye fan in particular, but I'd rather have him in the mix than not.

when i watched the fight live I thought Haye wasn't doing enough to win rounds and because it was in Germany that Haye hadn't done enough to win. But scoring the fight this morning Haye won on my scorecard 116-112.....but usually you need to do more than what he did to get the nod from the judges. To be fair to Haye he did enough in most rounds to win the round and for the first time in ages the judges agreed
Job Biscuit (Next for Haye is John Ruiz...and Ruiz is going to get sparked inside 3 rounds)!!!
eh eh!!
It's nice to see you to see you nice
