I don't generally like a lot of histrionics and don't really like the heavyweights that much, but a competitive and exciting heavyweight division is good for boxing as a whole. Even the image of competitiveness.
The Klitschkos are also incredibly bland characters:
"He is good fi'ter, but I train very hard for dis fight."
Rinse, dry and repeat.
Wladimir looks great when the going is good, but the slightest adversity and he folds like an accordion. As recently as the Ibragimov fight he was deadly scared to take any risks (and that did have a lot to do with Ibragimov's southpaw stance). If you hit Wlad, he will go down. The only question is if Haye can take advantage. When he hurt Valuev he ran in and smothered himself.
The thing about Haye is that he has the potential to beat ANYONE, but also the potential to lose to anyone. Even if he beats both Klitschkos (big if) he's just as likely to lose the title to an ordinary fighter soon after. He's dangerous because he's got balls, but that's also his vulnerability. Hopefully he will mature enough to be a more sensible risk-taker in the future (I cringed every time he switched to southpaw).
I'm not a Haye fan in particular, but I'd rather have him in the mix than not.
