I did see Johnson winning 3 rounds of the fight. The biggie which I was surprised that everyone just disregarded was round 1. I mean Dawson didn't really throw anyything meaningful and Johnson constanly put pressure and landed the right hand. I then gave him round 5 and I believe it was the twelfth maybe the eleventh one of those two. HBO keeps wanting to build Dawson as a superstar but they forget one thing he is flat out boring. To me in his last couple of fight's he hasn't shown balls. That may seem harsh but where is the fire? He had Tarver stunned a few times and moved away and he did have Glen Johnson hurt in I think the eighth to were it looked he would land a few sharp punches Johnson would have went down. Instead he danced away trying to look good. Dawson has the talent but he doesn't show that animalistic ability to really put someone away. I think this will be his downfall.

The commentators had Dawson as the next Pablo Picasso after the 1st round and I barely saw him do anything. I might have given the 1st round to Johnson on aggression alone even though he wasn't effective with anything.

I think in order for Dawson to shine he needs someone who comes at him constantly and forces the issue. Tarver was content to let him smack him around. Johnson mixed it up more in their first fight and Dawson's porous defense let him make it close (despite the score cards). Dawson needs another Adamek fight, where he has to be on his toes on offense and defense to take the win.

Agreed. I think he needs a fight with Tarvious Cloud. Cloud isn't probably on that same level just yet but he does give constant pressure and can punch. I say let's see it. Two fighters in there prime why not.

At least Dawson said he's done fighting Johnson and Tarver. The only old guy on his hit list is Hopkins.

You act like Dawson is just going to beat or get beat by Hopkins. I see controversy allllllll over that fight. No way one guy wins it in everyones eyes unless Hopkins got old yesterday.

Dawson should have been born about 2 years later and maybe the division would have made a little more sense.

    - and I quote from some random guy on the internet
