Hunt probably had him in the most danger of anyone...Coleman was also doing very well in their first fight right before one of the greatest armbars I've ever seen. After watching all of his fights I think it will take somone very similar to Arlovski's physical athleticism and technical striking to beat Fedor...but a much better chin and focus of course. I don't think a fighter with a heavy wrestling or submission background is going to beat him.

I cannot see Brock Lesnar losing to him.
I see something similar to Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson happening. Only difference is that Tyson was all but a broken man when they met in the ring.

Agree. Arlovski was mistreating him till he got hit flush on the button but would Arlovski have a better chin, things could have gone way differently. An all around master striker with a chin, I don't think wrestling won't do much against him as he's a sambo and Judo expert and well, damn good on his back.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Comparing previous fights this is the most out of shape I've seen him.
He looked slightly "pudgier" then other times.
The last one I would trade with actually... even against the Giant Corean Choi, the fuckin' block is like totally covering him and he pulls out an armbar out of nowhere even if the physical size of the guy ranges into the monstrous category!! The guy will lose someday somehow, but his all over record and performances are damn impressive, infernal ground and pound and even on his back, he's flexible enough to get you into an armbar at any moment.

How did he get up from this

Years of training to relax and go limp...all of us would panic and tense up before the impact and probably be knocked unconcious, just another day for Fedor.

The thing that impresses me the most about Fedor...more than his incredible strength and great skill...are his intelligence and calmness in the ring. He doesn't rely on his physical attributes alone...he thinks, adapts, and dominates. That is why when people make Mike Tyson or "cyborg" comparisons....i think it does Fedor a great injustice. He is so much more than this powerful beast. He uses his mind just as effectively as his body. His calmness is also a huge asset...he never panics...always seems relaxed. That is why it will take someone who is both a fantastic athlete AND also a very intelligent fighter to have a chance against him. You CANNOT make a mistake against Fedor...one misstep...and he capitalizes immediately. No room for error. And as far as UFC's great hype hope...Brock Lesnar....please! He will win his share of matches because of his size and athleticism...but at the end of the day...he is a blockhead. They keep throwing these GIANTS at Fedor...and he is never physically over matched...the man is pound 4 pound the strongest fighter in the business. No one is unbeatable...including Fedor...but it will take a very special fighter or an off night for him to lose.
Big up to a fellow Saddonian here for shooting over a link to a Fedor doc.
Just saw "The baddest man on the planet"
Holy shit...
This guy is the fuckest coolest guy ever...
For those who haven't seen it strongly recommend it.
