Solis couldn't even KO Julius Long.
A Solis who had had only 5 pro fights at the time. That was also the most mediocre performance of his entire career, and he at least won every round.

Solis is just more menacing than Haye. Forget about the rounds they ko'd Barrett in but just watch the two fights. Solis bullied Barret from the opening bell, he just kept coming forward and landed accurate punches, controlled aggression. If Barrett tried to clinch or work inside Solis just pushed him away, he's strong, composed and has a natural aggression.

Contrast that with Haye, who whilst he has punching power doesn't have the muscular physical strength of Solis. He doesn't bully and manhandle his opponents. He can look unbalanced at times, falling over a few times in the Barret fight, farcically at times. He also takes shots and is vulnerable, and his workrate isn't the best.

I'd favour Solis to dominate him much the same way as James Kirkland dominated Joel Julio, they are both big punchers, but Kirkland was just stronger and more physically imposing.

I think Haye lacks that and Solis would just bully him although it would be a great fight for the first few rounds.
