I think Pac will have his moments, but Floyd will put on a masterclass and win BY UD
He hasn't got a chance in a million of beating Pacman. But he has no choice but to box him, because he needs the money. And once they box and Pacman destroys this overated fool it will be the end of the road for floyd.
I think Mayweather will KO Pac. When Pac gets tagged and goes Macho Floyd will step back and counter and those shots will have Pacs momentum in them as well as Floyds accuracy and class. Not saying he will starch him but Roach may pull him out or the ref may stop the fight. My money will be on PBF to win by KO, I have been thinking it for ages now and nothing is going to change my mind.
Also someone said Floyd hasn't fought a genuine WW since Baldomir? Well no but he has been up and won the WBC 154 title off Oscar in Oscar's comfort zone and he fought the UNDEFEATED Ricky Hatton and KO'd him and then in his last fight he beat a man who drew with Pac (which was fair) and then beat Pac (and was robbed), with total ease. In fact when Marquez did land on Floyd he stepped it up and decked him just to let him know he could. Pacquiao never had that kind of control over JMM even in the first round of the first fight when JMM was caught cold!
I know the answer to this one:
The promoters!
They will be raking it in for getting this fight made.
I'll make no predictions until the weight they'll fight at is announced.
All hinges on that imo
I can see bullshit politics stopping this one even happening in afraid.
Neither will fight at a financial loss and both will want a bigger slice than the other (it's started already with Roach wanting the bigger cut 60/40)
Then theres the weight issue.
Hope i'm wrong but theres so many factors that could stop this happening.
Hope i'm wrong but just get a feeling this will be an absolute bstard to promote and organise and if it does happen i think it'll take an age to come to a fair agreement that suits both parties.
Your gonna have the Mayweather family making silly demands etc etc etc.
Don't forget Boxing is a Business as much as it is a sport.
I'm with with smash, I'll wait till all negotiations are made but I do honestly think Pac has the tools and Freddie has the gameplan to pull it off.
If Zab can land on Floyd using his handspeed I'm certain pac can and Manny has the footspeed to get out again if he has to.
Spot on mate
To be honest i don't even give Pac any real chance and don't see how he wins this... Floyd will just wrap him up and pic him off.
He ain't gonna stand and fight Pac blow for blow and is such a clever defensive fighter.
All the advantages are with Floyd 100 percent.
If you dont believe manny cant at the very worst match judah you really arent paying too much attention are you
My prediction of this fight changes every time one of them puts in a spectacular performance
This is the defining question of boxing for this decade. Can manny pacquiao deal with floyds awkward nature and can floyd deal with the speed and power pac posseses.
Ive now completely role reversed and have got manny troubling floyd early on leading to mayweather going on a merry stroll and losing to a decision after 12rounds which he will bitch about like no tommorow.
The manny pac that fights floyd mayweather will be faster, stronger and more in tune with how to fight a counter puncher than we have ever seen before. The moment he lands big on floyd which he eventually will mayweathers gonna want no part of trying to trade with pacman
one dangerous horrible bloke
A 147 pacquiao throws far more accurate, harder and higher volume than ODLH at 154 could ever dream about
Lets be honest here oscar in his last 2 fights was a sitting duck waiting to be hit. When he did throw it was pre-planned flurried attacks and floyd was more than aware of what was coming each and every time.
Against pacquiao he`ll have to deal with that threat not 2-3times in a round but for the entire 3minutes. If you honestly think for the 1st time in pacs career he wont land clean, hard accurate punches and follow them up with equally as damaging shots then your right in believing floyd will get the job done.
I dont see it, pac will land-floyd will run - that`ll be the ultimate factor for this fight!
one dangerous horrible bloke
Thats a bold statement bud ! Ya dont give Pac a chance
He's the P4P No1 and recently destroyed 3 highly regarded fighters. Styles do make fights and can determine how the fight pans out. Lets not forget many gave Pac little chance against Cotto because of the weight, now it's because he wont be able to handle Floyds style. Rubbish ! He's P4P No1 for a reason, he figures boxers out and executes his gameplan perfectly.
For me Pac is a different fighter to the one that faced Marquez, he's shown he can evolve and get better with each fight.
Pac wins this one![]()

The Pac vs Sasakul fight is one fight that comes to mind in view of a forthcoming fight with PBF, an ultimate boxer against the raw fury of Pacquiao.
Not to say that the unbeaten Thai champ is by any means a PBF. PBF is PBF, and the rest... is not. LOL.
However, factor that at the day and time of the fight, when Manny's flaws through inexperinece was at its most apparent contrasting with the brilliance to that of the title-holder, will give us a picture of how frustrating a fight it was for Pac, and so consequently, a small window to how this much anticipated mega-fight may play out.
In that fight, Sasakul was giving Manny a severe thrashing. A boxing lesson, one might easily conclude. The disparity between the two protagonists in ring generalship was glaring. Pacquiao's frustration at his own ineptness was as clear as that day was sunny.
The pot-shotting is A-1 in quality with dashing footwork to boot. Pacquiao found himself pulling on his pants a lot more than making the sign of the cross. An indication that quit is still quite remotely far from his thoughts, but an alarming level of frustration at his inabilty to land leather is creeping in.
The Thai, unbeaten in 36 or so fights, and was considered as his country's national treasure, could not however, find a way to make the neophyte from GenSan, to finally mentally give up and quit the fight.
Why? Cause he cannot hurt him. Sasakul did not possess the power to short circuit the brain of the young man wired by nature for that of a beast.
Pac Ko'ed him in seven! If anyone would care to watch it, you'd see how a boxer with boxing skill at its finest betrayed by the lack of sufficient KO power. Sheer fury!
Pacquiao over Mayweather, lucky nine!
