Discuss...
defense goes to Floyd as well, so does less wear and tear

as far as quality of opponents i dunno

Mayweather has:

Genaro Hernandez
Angel Manfredy
Emanuel Agustus
Diego Corrales (when he was undefeated)
Carlos Hernandez
Jesus Chavez
Jose Luis Castillo (twice)
DeMarcus Corley
Arturo Gatti
Zab Judah
Carlos Baldomir (say what you will, he was the lineal champ)
Oscar De La Hoya (at 154)
Ricky Hatton (at 147)
Juan Manuel Marquez (jumped 2 divisions, while being lineal champ at 135)

Pacquiao has:

Lehlohonolo Ledwaba
Agapito Sanchez
Emmanuel Lucero
Marco Antonio Barrera (twice)
Erik Morales (1 loss, 2 wins)
Juan Manuel Marquez (1 draw, 1 win)
Oscar Larios (came up 2 divisions after a bad TKO Loss)
David Diaz
Oscar De La Hoya (at 147)
Ricky Hatton (at 140, Hatton's "best" weight)
Miguel Cotto (at 145 catchweight, IMO Pacquiao's best win)

all in all i'd actually say that they're about even in quality, given the big names, and when they took them on
I forgot about "Defense" and sure it goes to Floyd. We might as well include "Offense" which goes to Pacquiao. One thing that makes this fight very interesting since we have a defensive genius at one end and a well-oiled offensive machine on the other end.

I can accept that "quality of opponents" might be EVEN.
not really, IMO Mayweather puts combo's together better than Manny, and he has a wider variety of punches, he knocked Hatton out throwing a hook on the backfoot, i don't see Manny being able to do that, seeing how he basically lunges in and puts all of his body weight/force into his shots
