That is true, but yes ok Pac-Cotto is the better fight than Floyd-Marquez but reports are coming out that is did close to 2 million, that smokes anything Mayweather has ever done I think that has big big power when comes to negotiating.

Lets not forget Mayweather has also been groomed as a p4p boxing superstar for many many years before we new who Pac was, so it's taken time for Pac to become the ppv star he now is.

Like i said after the last performance imo Pac would do more buys than Mayweather if they fought the same fighter, for instance id put the house on say Pac-Mosley doing more than Mayweather-Mosley After his last performance Pac has become the premier star in the boxing world imo, the best no I still think Floyd beats him but for me he is the star now.

This is wrong. PBF v DLH did 2.15 million buys, PBF v Hatton did 1.5 million buys. It sounds as tho Pac v Cotto did 1.6 million buys. So to say that Pac v Cotto smoked anything Floyd has done is just a straight out lie. Mayweather did a million buys with Marquez even when up against a UFC card which would have had a negative effect on that fights numbers.

You're wrong with both, Mayweather-ODLH did 2.4, while Pacquiao-ODLH only did 1.25, Mayweather-Hatton did 0.915, while it did over a 1 million on sky sports. Pacquiao's did about 0.825-0.85ish with less overseas. Mayweather did 1.05 million against MArquez while Pacquiao-Marquez II did 0.4 buys.

I don't think there is any evidence that Pacquiao is quite the draw Mayweather, and the fact that the very popular Miguel Cotto only gave Pacquiao 0.2 more buys than Mayweather against Marquez doesn't help his cause.

With Pacquiao-Marquez II, Pacman is not yet the draw that he is today. With regards to the Mayweather-ODLH and Mayweather-Hatton ppv (if memory serves me right) the economy during those times are way much better. And the draw between the Mayweather-ODLH fight is Oscar and not Floyd. While the Oscar-Pacman fight we are already in a global recession. We are still econmically wise are still a bit of a slump. But Pacman's PPV numbers over Hatton is pretty close with that of Mayweather-Hatton.

The definitive barometer here are the recent fights. Pacman score big over his fight with Cotto than Mayweather vs JMM on PPV.
