Honestly it played out as I thought it would, maybe Kessler got befuddled early but no way did I believe Kessler had any chance to win the decision. He's as brilliant of a boxing mind as there is for a guy so young and he showed it tonight, just schooled way beyond his years. Of course he still makes some amateurish mistakes but the footwork was just brilliant. A lot of things were, kept the pressure on good.

Meh, I am not even going to bother reading any back posts about holding and what have you. Ward destroyed Kessler, plain and simple. I hate the fucking guy and all his church bullshit too and was rooting for the tattoo'd man, but he beat the snot out of kessler and made him look a chump.

I am not sold on Ward, but will concede that he won the majority of the rounds. I thought his method of doing so was dubious, but he does have some skills. I maintain that Kessler is able to do much better in a rematch, which might well happen later on. Kessler is only just back proper after a long lay off and an easy tuneup, he will only get better.

Well, I'm glad someones happy...

I think Kessler does a lot better in a rematch. He knows exactly what he's in there with now. I didn't thik Ward was as impressive as some are making him out to be.
