He would rather lose to a great fighter like JMM, that Amir Khan. If he some how wins then he is back in the big time, but really he should retire. Not many fighters retire on top.

The true winner of such fight would be Golden Boy Promotions, a tune up for Marquez and a farewell for Hatton.

Any thoughts on this one? The fight will be held at 140.

Yeah, another Manchester debacle. LOL Ricky better get his elbowing technique back to par like he had against Tszyu. Hatton is a bum, and he gets KO'd by an over-the-hill Marquez within 5 in the states. However, in Manchester, the fairies are flying in abundance, so who the hell knows what kind of corruption will take place.

But there's nothing like seeing a bum like Hatton take his proper beat down.

Hatton is far from a bum, he has only been beaten by quality opponents.

I'd rather see a Hatton/Bradley but unlikely to happen....Hatton is tattered now, wide and could be 100% spent after Manny pole axed him.Can see Marquez coming down the middle with effect all night long and timing him very ugly.

Marquez would do Hatton a great favor by beating him. Rationale: A TKO victory by JMM would probably be either on cuts, or from the sheer volume of punches which would prompt the ref to stop the fight. But JMM being the naturally smaller guy, he wouldn't carry devastating power. If Hatton wins, he gets brave and calls out the big boys. He then gets a big boy fight, and gets devastatingly KTFO'ed.... again.
