I don't know, there's one thing to have Ward versus Taylor who's been slapped around by just about everyone but Stacy Goodson promoted fighters, and there's one thing to have Dirrell-Ward with Dirrell with two losses in a row but its another thing to have Abraham and Froch (haha) coming off the first loss of their careers.

That would be still anticipated, who responds in a must win fight for both guys?

Maybe it would sell OK in Germany (think that's where it's scheduled anyway). Froch ain't draw even in Britain though even as "world" champ.

The best scenario for the SS would be this -

    Dirrel beats AA.
    Froch beats Kessler.
    Ward beats Taylor.

Dirrell-Ward then have a big fight stateside.
Froch-AA is for a title in Euroland.
Kessler and Taylor retire or drop-out

The winners of Dirrell-Ward/Froch-AA then fight for the trophy with "world" titles on the line.

Hopefully it will be AA-Ward. If it's Froch-Dirrell it will be pure comedy gold after the first meeting. There you go i've sussed it.

I read this somewhere else from some Danish journalist :

In regards to Mikkel Kessler, I first got my eye on Kessler when he was a teenage amateur and have followed his career very closely. I have seen all but three fights live at ringside. No disrespect to Andre Ward who fought well but in my eyes it was more a case of a poor performance from the Dane than an outstanding fight from Ward. Kessler made very basic mistakes and even looked gun-shy. It could be Mikkel peaked with his great win over Librado Andrade in 07 and then came the Joe Calzaghe fight, a huge payday, a move to Monaco, a contractual dispute and some easy fights and that may have dulled his once exellent fighting skills. Sauerland Event wants Carl Froch vs Kessler to go ahead March 6 in Denmark but it´s a big questionmark if Mikkel can recuperate in time - and I doubt he can find the fire he once had. Big paydays can do things to a fighter that have similar effect as a bad beating.

If Froch goes and beats a faded Kessler in the next round we'll never hear the end of it.

Froch has been unusuallt quiet since the fight. I wonder what he's got to say about it.

Am i the only one that doesn't think Jermain Taylor is shot ? i just don't think he's learnt from his mistakes, which makes him more beatable to opponents now they know what to do.

Jermain Taylor to me seemed to waste so much energy vs Arthur Abraham, just throwing jabs out not really thinking about what his doing, and Arthur Abraham easily picked them off just waiting, until the 2nd half of the fight where Jermain Taylor is vunerable.

Jermain Taylor has never been relaxed in the ring, and he wastes alot of nervous energy which has cost him, even in slow pace fights with Winky Wright, Bernard Hopkins. He seems so tired and thats because he wastes alot of energy and because he's not relaxed.

Take George Foreman for example in his 2nd career, even though he was old and fat. Because he was totally relaxed and calm in the ring, he could go 12 hard rounds and still have the energy to come on strong.

Taylor is just in it for the money now. He'll retire after another couple of fights, maybe after the next one if Ward sparks him. On the Showtime shows about the SS tournament when all the promoters originally met to discuss the matchups, venues etc. Taylor's promoter got him on the phone at one point and was told "maximise the money." Even at the start he wasn't thinking about getting advantages in certain fights, he was just thinking pension.
