    Default Six Pack

Been training 19 month after 2 years out of playing football and it is taking just about now for me to get my conditioning back. Training/playing football 4 times per week and just now seeing my 6 pack returning. I feel good. Have not seen them for 8 years.

Yes that is true, when you get my age you worry more about aches and pains, than if you were 21 when you just ignored it.

Yes you keep it up too, no better feeling than the buzz of exercise (after sex of course). Just want to stay injury free now.

    I feel it too.
God mate at nearly 51 now it gets worse at times.
I come in from a 2 hour sesh in the surf feeling great and renewed then the aches start over the next few days neck and shoulders so bad its hard to sleep, paddling around with your head held up is a real bitch on the worn neck bones.

Just my luck got chopped playing football, left knee swollen can hardly walk on it. Serves me right for bragging. Think I will be out for a couple of weeks.

Thanks mate. I just keep stressing about the exercise that I am missing. But I know I have to rest it and it is very slowly getting better. Got to take it easy at my age. (That is a sign that you are getting older, when you say that.)

Good for you, seems like it takes forever doesn't it...About a year ago I had realized I gained about 40lbs from sitting at work all day and I had a Double Chin!!!

Took off some of the weight ( a little more then half) feel a bunch better chin down to just one again ...

I still don't understand why it was so quick to get out of shape but seems to take forever to get back in..

    Keep at it

Im 66, but every morning Im up and Punching the Bag about. Then she gets up and makes the Tea. . Then 3 hours a day in the gym, watching people sweat, its a hard life.

    Classic.

Next time the cops pull you over for a breath test and say 'would you mind blowing into the bag sir?". I dare you to point at (she who must be obeyed) and say I just did thanks.

The ensuing family argument and the bags hand bag contents flying at you ,should have the copper back off into his car and driving off if your lucky.

My wife just stared at me and shook her head when i came up with the idea.. no humor there at all.
