Would love to see him get back but at 31 for the lower weights he is pushing it in terms of warm ups then the big time again. Was a great prospect for Scottish boxing but was obviously prone to excess to say the least.
A bit of a modern day Benny Lynch story. Even if he doesn't get back into boxing I hope he can get his life in order.Easy to be critical but we never know what demons someone carries around inside them.

It's a shame how is life and career turned out. I remember watching him beat the hell out of Wayne McCullough on Showtime way back when.
At 32, he might have one last run in him, if he can get fights and stay active.

Actually being a recovered alcoholic, I can say that the depression deal is the cause of his drug alcohol and anger problems. He chose those ways of covering up the depression. Until he comes to grips through medication, counseling, 12 steps, what not, with dealing with depression, he'll head back to the old ways of dealing with depression.
