I can respect that decision..Cotto is the man. Always does his thing with minimal fuss.

He should retire and enjoy still having his senses. He's had a great career already littered with tough fights.

I agree. His confidence and career were already done-for after that fight. A pitty, I believe he had the tools to beat Pacquiao and even go down as an ATG. A great loss for the sport.

If he wants to retire, that's his God-given right. He's been in enough wars, and has certainly done a lot for boxing. As a Puerto Rican boxing fan, I'm extremely proud of the way he's always carried himself. The excitement he has always brought to fights will be missed.

And yet... I still think he could have achieved the next echelon had he not been so stubborn about his corner, and gotten himself a GOOD trainer (not just a bunch of yes-men).

But proud nonetheless to be a fan of such a classy guy, and great fighter.
