Yeah that doesn't sound bad although I don't know a whole lot about Slovenia. Are they the ones that beat the Russians to get in?

Group G-Brazil, Portugal, Ivory Coast, N. Korea
I guess that would be the "Group of Death?"
Really Slovenia and Algeria should be happy too, were not an easy win for them by any means but nobody's really scared of playing us, there's no reason for them to not think they could get points off each other and England doesn't scare people like Brazil or Spain do.
Slovenia in truth are not that good they were beaton by Northen Ireeland in the group stages, both them and Algeria are nations that had to get in via a play off, England will piss this group.
Add into that how do these nations deal with the big game experience bit different to playing a qualifier on a wednesday night against Northern Ireland, I think USA's big game experience should get them through aswell.
Great draw for the United States....couldn't have asked for anything better....maybe Greece instead of Slovenia but still a very acceptable draw considering our last group Italy, Ghana, & Czech Republic...that was rough.
I think Group G is the Group of Death but Netherlands, Denmark, Japan, & Camroon is a solid group as well.
Without surprise, Canada isn't participating to the ballroom. Hopefully, within a couple of years, we'll have somewhat a competitive team and might see them once again in action on the international scene.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
The US need to have some friendlies really quick and try and find ourselves another striker and a solid CB to use, unless Bocanegra and DeMerit will handle it. Whatever we do we need to build up our team chemistry a bit, but nevertheless, I am super excited about this year, we've already played solid ball in South America and despite the loss of Davies and perhaps Onyewu I think we should have a good run....we better
