The finest stuff from Scotland, Scotch Whiskey, a very good red wine, beer or a good vodka. I am not much into cocktail stuff, a gin tonic from time to time or perhaps a Black Velvet (cider combined with Guinness). That does the trick for me.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
I usually drink good red wine, bourbon, rye, scotch, and various brands of beer (Dixie lager & Blackened Voodoo, Harpoon IPA, Red Oak, Sierra Nevada IPA, Boddington's, New Castle, Grolsch, Sam Adams, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Miller High Life, etc)
mixed drinks: Classic Gin Martini's, Gin & Tonic, Old Fashioned's....when I'm pressed I'll have a rum & coke or stoli & something.
Right now in my wet bar I have: Stolichnaya Vodka, Sazerac Rye, Broker's Gin, Pinch Scotch, Kettle One Citrus Vodka, Absente Absinthe, Irish Cream, Triple Sec, Dry & Sweet Vermouth, and Maker's Mark Bourbon....I also have a few bottles of wine and Orange and Angustora Bitters.
Good beer (too many to mention really, but there are some "good" beers that I don't like, I'd rather have a Papst than a Corona any day of the week), goodish Red Wine (I'm really not gonna spend more than 15.99 or so on a bottle that often (or ever really), besides there are lots of good bottles between 10 and 15), Vodka & Water, Gin & Tonic's, not a big fan of Whiskey/Bourbon/Scotch but I'll drink it.
Things I don't like: Margaritas, Whiskey and Coke, Rum and Coke. If I'm drinking whiskey I'll just drink it with ice or water. Not a big fan of white wine but I don't really dislike it, I just don't really but it cause if I buy wine I buy red wine.

Ouma you're 100% correct, you never mix bourbon or whiskey unless it's with ice, or bitters and in that case it's just a dash.
You do however need to drink better wine or at least try it.
I am not a tequila fan or ANYTHING mixed with Red Bull, bleh
I've found wine over that amount to be very hit and miss, a few I preferred over "cheaper" wine but most I didn't. I just don't care enough in the end, I'm not gonna drink cheap cheap wine but there are plenty good bottles in the 10 to 15 to maybe 20 range.
