Arum does make a point about it being 10 Million Dollars richer in Texas and that is a lot of money.
I personally would love to see a fight of this magnitude in a stadium. Arum wants to make up for what happened on Sept. 28, 1976 I am sure of it. I guess if we look back to what happened back then, maybe a stadium is not such a good thing after all but who could have predicted that on the night of the fight, the police in N.Y would go on strike![]()

true, but think of boxing you don't think of some astrodome in texas.![]()
"He also revealed that Schaefer had sent him a new draft of a contract which says "the site of the fight shall be the MGM Grand unless Golden Boy decides otherwise. Are they crazy? Even if the fight went away how would you sign that contract? Why should Golden Boy and MGM Grand be mentioned as the site."
this is laughable. it doesn't matter where this megafight gonna be held.

Personally, they can even make it on the moon, as long as it happens and that there is a way for fans to go over there. Hell let's make it in the Montreal Stadium, it's about 45 000 seaters, if it was good enough for Duran-Leonard, it must be ok for Pacquiao-Mayweather![]()

From what I heard there's no night life in Arlington where the stadium is held. Although a fight of this magnitude should be in a stadium. It would have been cool if it was in New Orleans, great night life and I would have tried to score some tickets.

The fans would benefit if it was at The Cowboys Stadium. I for one was hoping it would be there as I have full intention of going to the fight. How hard will it be for me to get tickets at the MGM when half the 16k seats are held back from the real fans? As opposed to 110k seats at Dallas?
That's why when Hatton fought at Man City you could get tickets for as little as £25, I opted for the £40 tickets and took my little cousin too. Granted the view was shit but at The Cowboys Stadium they have an 180 foot HD screen suspended above the ring.
All I know is there's less chance of me attending the actual fight if it's in Vegas.![]()
