Anyone else think the main board has gone to shit?

I have not been posting much lately due to not even being online too much but I have been stopping in now and again making a post here and there I noticed something on the main boards.....

It seems that either it consist of everyone bitching about Pacquiao fans, posters nthat were once quality starting to act like clowns staing shit of zero worth just to state it...EG- Talking bad about a fighter for the simple fact it will piss another poster off...

The over abundance of links to other sites in post...One guy just uses his site logo and link as his sig then makes threads using articles from his site to promote traffic...

I am not sure what has happened lately....Mods not around too much? I also noticed a lot of this seemed to beging (I could be wrong) after Mick stopped being around so often...

Maybe it is just me and I have been logging on during times when it seems as though there is just shit on the boards not even worth reading....

Just curious if anyone else has noticed these things?

Talking as somebody who is online almost all day and has been for the last 5 years, I disagree with what you say. I don't see any fall in standards. If this place didn't have the amount of freedom for posters to speak as they wish (within reason) it wouldn't be the place it is and would be like so many other forums that are run by ego trippin power hungry moderators that spoil the site.

I think the highlighted part of your post probably means that you really don't know what goes on around here. I spend hours each day going through threads and checking for anything that I think is affecting the site, if I see anything I don't like, it's gone, simple as that and the same goes for all the other Mods on here, who do their best to make this a fun place to be.

I don't criticize your writing for the site, so do me a favour and don't criticize how we moderate the forums.

I just made a statement and asked a question...Don't think anywhere did I say the Mods suck did I? No I didn't pretty sure I just stated in question forum that maybe mods aren't around that much I am pretty sure I also stated that In question form if maybe it was just me and I just happen to log on when there is a bunch of shit post...

So if you are going to throw a tantrum and say I am criticizing and you feel the need to defend yourself with explainations maybe then you feel guilty on the fact you do do a shit job personally...

then the bext thing you do is get on an ego trip talking yourself up....Then you talk about posters having the freedom to post as they wish but when someone post something that your fragile little ego doesn't like you are the first one to talk shit...

And if I do criticize the way certain people moderate then be it...Too bad get over it...Was stating my opinion on things I have actually seen on the forums....It is an opinion but I don't think I said that at all

So again since you seem to have had a hard time understanding my post due to your hours and hours of going through the threads and keeping them up to your standards...I did not say a bad thing about the mods and pretty much thought all were cool....I did state clearly maybe I have just been coming on during times when there is drama bullshit on the boards...For all you know those times were before you and your hours of daily moderation had a chance to mod, clean up post etc....Instead you jump on the I am a dick wagon

If I wanted to criticize mods I would just flat put in the title of the thread "The mods fucking suck!!!"
